Vivo V40e launch date in India 2024: Vivo unveiled its mid-range V40 series smartphones in India last month, emphasizing camera performance. It’s already known that Vivo is developing another model called the V40e. Nonetheless, prior to its official launch, the V40e has surfaced in a new leak that discloses additional details regarding its specifications and pricing tailored for the Indian market.

The V40e is expected to be available in two storage configurations: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB, with a price range between ₹20,000 and ₹30,000 in India. This positions it as a competitor to the OnePlus Nord 4 and the Nothing Phone (2).

The report also reveals additional specifications of the Vivo V40e. It is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution, similar to both the base V40 and the higher-end V40 Pro models. The smartphone is expected to feature a 3D curved display with a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. On the hardware side, the V40e is anticipated to be driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset.

In terms of photography, the device is speculated to feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an additional 2MP sensor for enhanced versatility. For selfies and video calls, a 50MP front camera, potentially using the Samsung JNI sensor, is anticipated.

The V40e is also expected to support 80W wired fast charging, powered by a robust 5,500mAh battery. Furthermore, the smartphone may operate on Android 14 OS with a unique FunTouch OS 114 skin and could provide an IP65 rating for protection against water and dust.
