Apple is set to lead with the highly anticipated iPhone 16 series, promising new features and enhancements. Upcoming mobile 2024 in India

Motorola

Motorola has confirmed the launch of the Razr 50 smartphone in India on September 9, following its initial release in China and globally. The new model features a 3.6-inch external display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and IPX8 water resistance. It includes a 6.9-inch FHD+ internal foldable pOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3.6-inch external pOLED screen with 1700 nits peak brightness and a 90Hz refresh rate.

It has a 4200mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless fast charging. The device supports HDR10+, 10-bit color, and up to 3000 nits peak brightness on the main display. It boasts a rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide/macro lens, complemented by a 32MP front camera capable of 4K UHD video recording. Audio is enhanced with dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, spatial sound, and three microphones. The phone will be available on Amazon.in, motorola.com, and offline stores.

Narzo 70 Turbo

Realme has announced that it will launch the Narzo 70 Turbo smartphone in India on September 9 at 12:00 PM IST.

The Narzo 70 Turbo will have a performance-oriented design with a motorsport-inspired back, including a yellow vertical stripe for the camera module. It will offer a flat display with minimal bezels and a centered punch hole for the front camera. Expected memory variants include 6/128GB, 8/128GB, 8/256GB, and 12/256GB, with a 50MP main camera with EIS and an 8MP front camera. The phone will be available in purple, yellow, and green colors.

iPhone series

All our favorite Apple is gearing up to unveil the iPhone 16 series on 9 of September. The iPhone 16 will sport a 6.1-inch XDR OLED display, while the iPhone 16 Plus will feature a larger 6.7-inch screen, both offering a 60Hz refresh rate and Dynamic Island. Powered by the A18 chipset, these models will come with storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB. They are anticipated to include a 48MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens, with battery capacities of 3561mAh for the iPhone 16 and 4006mAh for the Plus variant.

The iPhone 16 Pro will sport a 6.3-inch XDR OLED display, and the Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch screen, both likely powered by the A18 Pro chipset with up to 1TB of storage. They may feature a 48MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5x telephoto lens, with battery capacities of 3355mAh and 4676mAh respectively.

Huawei tri-fold phone

Huawei has announced a product launch event on September 10, sparking speculation that it will unveil its first tri-fold phone. The event poster hints at a groundbreaking and innovative device, with Huawei’s consumer business CEO, Richard Yu, describing it as the company’s most advanced and disruptive product. Leaked images suggest the phone will feature a rounded camera module, a slim profile when folded, and a 10-inch screen when fully opened, with a dual-hinge mechanism. The device is expected to be powered by a Kirin 9 series platform. The live stream of the event will begin at 14:30 CST on Huawei’s official Weibo account.

Phantom V Fold 2 5G and Phantom V Flip

Tecno is expected to launch its foldable devices, the Phantom V Fold 2 5G and Phantom V Flip 2 5G, globally in September. These devices were available for pre-order in Ghana from August 19 to 24, though the official launch date is yet to be announced.

Leaks indicate that the Phantom V Flip 2 will be priced at GHS 9,800 ($626) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB model, while the Phantom V Fold 2 will cost GHS 16,550 ($1058) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB variant. The Phantom V Fold 2 is expected to feature a 5,610mAh dual-cell battery with 70W fast charging, driven by the Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset. The V Flip 2 is rumored to be equipped with the Dimensity 8050. Tecno plans to position these foldables as budget-friendly alternatives to high-end devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Motorola’s.
