iQOO Z9 Turbo+ Launched 2024: While most Chinese smartphone brands are currently inactive due to the national holidays for the Mid-Autumn Festival, iQOO has managed to share a new image of the upcoming iQOO Z9 Turbo+. The brand released a visual showcasing the Moon Shadow White variant of the device. Additionally, an offline poster has surfaced, highlighting two significant differences between the Z9 Turbo+ and the existing Z9 Turbo model.

iQOO Z9 Turbo specs
Moon Shadow White edition of the iQOO Z9 Turbo+. This color option distinguishes itself from the Starburst White edition of the Z9 Turbo. Currently, there is no information available regarding other color variants of the device.
The existing Z9 Turbo Is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip and a 6,000mAh battery. However, an offline poster indicates that the Z9 Turbo+ will feature the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset along with a larger 6,400mAh battery. Other specifications of the Z9 Turbo+ are expected to be similar to those of the current model.
The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED screen boasting a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. It will also include 3840Hz PWM dimming and an embedded fingerprint sensor for added convenience.. The device is expected to have a thickness of 7.98mm and weigh 199 grams.
For photography, the Z9 Turbo+ is expected to come with a 16MP front camera and a dual-camera system on the back featuring a 50MP lens with OIS and an additional 8MP sensor. The Z9 Turbo+ Is likely to be available in 12GB/16GB LPDDR5x RAM variants and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or even 1TB using UFS 4.0 technology. The base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is estimated to be priced around 2,299 yuan (~$325), with a launch expected in China on September 24.
