सीबीएसई बोर्ड की 10वीं की परीक्षाएं इस बार 15 फरवरी से शुरू हुई थी जो की 21 मार्च को समाप्त हुई वहीं 12वीं की परीक्षाएं 15 मार्च से शुरू हो कर 5 अप्रैल तक चली थीं जिसके कुल 38 लाख से भी अधिक विद्यार्थियों ने परीक्षा दी, पास होने के लिए न्यूनतम 33 प्रतिशत अंक लाना अनिवार्य होता है लेकिन सीबीएसई बोर्ड में बढ़ते कंपीटीशन की वजह से 33 प्रतिशत अंक लाना बेहद बुरा प्रदर्शन माना जाता हैं।

उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार में वित्त मंत्री सुरेश खन्ना का बयान है की इस योजना के अंतर्गत अगले 5 वर्षो में 2 करोड़ युवाओं को इस योजना से जोड़ कर लाभ दिया जायेगा। इस वर्ष 2023 में जिन छात्रों को अभी तक स्मार्टफोन या टैबलेट योजना का लाभ नहीं मिला है उन्हे आने वाले 6 महीनो में इसका लाभ दिया जायेगा।
